?? Join our team supporting medically fragile and behavioral students in local Palm Springs school districts. We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Medical Assistant to provide part-time and on-call support, including coverage for after-school programs.

PositionOverview

The Medical Assistant will work directly with students who have medical or behavioral support needs in school settings. This role includes providing routine care, monitoring, documentation, and responding to health-related concerns as they arise. On-call availability for after-school program support is required.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

• Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

• Additional on-call hours may be requested for after-school program needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for medically fragile students.

• Support students with behavioral needs in collaboration with school staff.

• Administer basic first aid and follow care plans as directed.

• Monitor student health status and report changes promptly.

• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with school personnel.

• Respond to urgent health needs during after-school program hours.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent training preferred.

• Experience working with children, especially those with medical or behavioral needs.

• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in dynamic school environments.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Reliable transportation to various school sites within Palm Springs.
