The Palm Springs Surf Club is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Clerk to support the daily financial operations of our dynamic resort and recreation environment. In this role, you will assist with accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, reconciliations, record maintenance, and general accounting support to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth departmental workflow. This position does not supervise other employees; may coordinate with department leads to collect financial data and assist in training seasonal or temporary staff on procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards and the employee handbook; clothing must be clean, neat, and free of excessive wear; no athletic wear.
Ability to read and interpret financial documents, invoices, reports, and contracts; communicate clearly in English in both written and verbal form. Spanish a plus but not required. Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills. Ability to identify problems, collect and analyze data, draw valid conclusions, and work with financial software, spreadsheets, accounting platforms, and POS reporting tools.
Primarily office-based with occasional visits to operational areas; noise level varies from quiet to moderate; occasional exposure to outdoor conditions when collecting documents.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States.
